Review of Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Fragrances

I always love Dolce& Gabbana Perfume for its iconic style. And, this time, I have will be reviewing its 13 years iconic signature scent (which has been launched in 2001)- Light Blue Eau De Toilette Collection in this Blog Post.

With over 14 fragrance awards, Light Blue is a phenomenon. It is a scent that many have named as a must-have. Homage to the Sicilian summer; Light Blue is quintessential as its scent beckons the cool breeze of the Mediterranean that manifests into a playful and spontaneous, yet electrifying spirit that is ready to play the game of seduction.

More about Light Blue, a Mediterranean Love Story

The Mediterranean love story of Dolce&Gabbana’s celebrated Light Blue fragrances returns with a fascinating new chapter. This time, the two lovers chart a new course, with Italian model Bianca Balti cast as a classic Mediterranean beauty who takes the lead in a game of seduction. She is irresistible to David Gandy, who celebrates his third Light Blue advertising campaign with this episode. Captivating the world for over a decade, the award-winning scents return to the glittering sapphire blue waters of Capri under the direction of Mario Testino.

Together, their eyes match the colour of the water, that beautiful endless blue surrounding Capri. Watching it is to dream of plunging into that refreshing sea and feel the sun on the skin, to feel totally free.

Review:
Blue is the colour of the sea and it represents tranquility and calmness. And true enough, that is the first impression I have of the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Collection. The two bottles ( Light Blue Pour Homme  and the Femme) are packed in the velvety powder blue box which reminds me of the tranquillity of the sea.

Both are contained in the frosty glasses with the blue colour caps.

Notice that their sizes are quite different. The Light Blue Pour Homme  has a size of 75ml while the Femme has a size of 50ml.

Frankly speaking, I admit that I love the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Collection as this iconic perfume line really relaxes my senses of smell. Suddenly I feel as though I am currently relaxing at the Mediterranean Beach. With the beautiful sky and ocean, I can simply sit back and enjoy these beautiful sights while forgetting all my troubles and stresses. That is why I always love to spray the Light Blue Pour Femme in the morning as it never fails to brighten up my spirit for the day.

For your information, the Light Blue Pour Femme has a light floral aroma while the Light Blue Pour Homme has a Citrus one. Although there are differences in the respective aroma, both of these perfumes have the mild scent which are not too overbearing for my nose. In my opinion, the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Collection is definitely an excellent choice for men and women who are in search of a fresh Eau De Toilette.
