Project E.A.R.T.H. with Origins

I am honoured to be invited to the Project E.A.R.T.H. with Origins Event at City Square Mall last month.

For your information, this is quite a meaningful event as Origins partners National Environment Agency (NEA) on the Project E.A.R.T.H. initiative – creating awareness not only in cosmetic bottle recycling, but also in the waste resulting from cosmetic packaging.

In order to support this event, I have brought several Empty Cosmetics Bottles for recycling.

Guess what…In return, I actually get to receive 2 Origins Skincare Samples for my Kind Act.

For your information, you can recycle your Empty Cosmetics Bottles at all Origins’ counters, & the Project E.A.R.T.H. and Origins Recycling bins.

However, do note that if you recycled the Empty Bottles at the Recycling Bin, you will not be receiving any Origins Samples though. But, hey you are still doing your part to save our Mother Earth.

About Project E.A.R.T.H. with Origins

Officially launched: 7 April 2013, Sunday, at City Square Mall

Description: This is a new collaboration between Origins SG & NEA to create awareness on cosmetic recycling

Details:

This new initiative will ride on the momentum of existing Project E.A.R.T.H. recycling drives, where participants would receive product samples from Origins as a token of appreciation.
Discussions are also underway to place cosmetic recycling bins in community centres and public places like shopping malls and interested companies to make this more accessible to everyone.

Some of the activities lined up on that day include performances by an Eco-Music Challenge 2012 finalist, 3Rs skits performances by an Eco-Music Challenge 2012. However, I have forgotten to take photos of these lives performances and activities though.

The Guest-of-Honour of this event is Mr. Heng Chee How, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office.

Together with other VIP such as Managing Director of Estee Launder Companies, Ms. Grace Ban and Director-General (Environmental Protection) of National Environment Agency, Mr Koh Kim Hock, Mr Heng officially launched this event at City Square Mall.

Frankly speaking, I do find that it’s such a waste to throw away all the Empty Cosmetics Bottles. Now, with the launch of this event, we can get to recycle these containers and save our Mother Earth. Therefore, do support  the Project E.A.R.T.H. with Origins initiative and recycle all the Empty Cosmetics Bottles!
