(Sponsored) Review of Hada Labo Cleansing Oil

Thanks to the invitation by The Sample Store, I am excited to be one of the first few in Singapore who get to try out the Hada Labo Cleansing Oil.

For your information, Cleansing Oil really plays an important part in our daily skincare routine as we have to ensure that all the makeup have to be removed completely from our face every night before our sleep. If we do not do that, it will lead to breakout like blemishes of acnes and pimples. The colorizations of the makeup products will also speed-up the aging process as they add more pigmentation such as spot to our face. That is why we need to choose a good cleansing product.

Coming in Nov 2011, there will be a new option for Cleansing Oil—by Hada Labo Brand. Here is the     background information about the brand of Hada Labo

About  Hada Labo Brand

Hada Labo first arrives in Singaporein June 2010 with the introduction of the no. 1 face lotion in Japan, Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion. Its star ingredient, Super Hyaluronic Acid, can retain 12 litres of water with 1g (2X more than normal Hyaluronic Acid), giving abundant moisture for bouncy, smooth skin. The brand has received overwhelming response from Singaporean women nationwide (Bestselling face lotion 2010 and Best Newcomer Brand 2010, Watsons Singapore).

Hada Labo skincare philosophy: “PERFECT X SIMPLE” Inspired by traditional Japanese beauty wisdom, Hada Labo adopts a “No More, No Less” philosophy in the formulation of its products. Unnecessary additives such as colorant, fragrance and mineral oil that will burden the skin are omitted. Only beneficial, essential ingredients are retained to ensure maximum effectiveness – Only the best for your skin and nothing else...

The 2 key ingredients are 1) High Purity Olive Oil and 2) Super Hyaluronic Acid.

The Ultra Pure Olive Oil ensures high performance cleansing, and yet is very gentle with no irritation to skin. Super Hyaluronic Acid gives 2X more moisture than normal hyaluronic acid, where 1g can retain 12 litres of water, giving you refreshing smoothness after cleansing.

It is also water-soluble and does not leave any greasy residue, stickiness or dryness on your face after cleansing. Faithful to Hada Labo’s ‘PERFECT X SIMPLE’ philosophy, it does not contain Mineral Oil which is harmful to the skin and clogs pores, unlike other Cleansing Oils in the market.

Review

At the first glance of the Hada Lado cleansing oil, I do feel that the texture is not that watery or oily. It is more like a thin and transparent film of oil on my palm.

I am initially a bit doubtful about the cleansing properties of this cleansing oil simply because of this thin texture. That is why I purposely put on a “hard to remove” lipstick and a thicker eye makeup for this review. After trying out this cleansing oil, I am amazed by its ability to remove all my make-up. Check out the photos below for verifications of my claims.

A word of advice though: For harder to remove makeup like mascaras, you might have to massage it a few more times than the rest of the face.

What I really have mentioned is the fact it is extremely gentle to my delicate eye area and eye lashes.

Although I have accidently massage the oil into my eyes, I do not feel any irritations at all. Immediately, I am able to wash off the cleansing oil around the eyes areas without feeling  any stinginess sensation. That shows how gentle the formula is.

I am also happy about its ability to remove the eye makeup. That would means that I am able to use the cleansing oil for my whole face as I do not have to use a separate cleansing product to remove my face and lips makeup. It will really save my time and trouble when cleansing my face.

Moreover, I also love the fact that it contains a high percentage of high purity of olive oil. Olive oil has a lot of beauty benefits for our skin  for eg it can soften the skin around the eyes and smooth out wrinkles.

With all the advantages that Hada Lado cleansing oil offers, I am definitely going to change the brand of cleansing oil to Hada Labo.

By the way, there is another Hada Labo also has another Hydrating Make-‐up Remover in the range
