Media Launch of HTC Flyer Event

I attended the launch of HTC Flyer last Tuesday at the Art House @ old parliament road. This is my first time attending the media launch of a tablet at the Art House

If you have been following my blog, you should have known that I just bought a HTC Desire S Smart phone a few weeks ago. The HTC tablet is a continuation of the Sense Experience of the HTC Smartphone. For your information, HTC Sense is a user experience which focuses on putting people at the centre by making phones work in a more simple and natural way. For eg, the HTC Phone is able to show the current weather conditions by several animations on the screen eg rainy day will show a wiper with few drops of rains and cloudy day will show few clouds on the hand phone screen.

Please refer to the picture below for the technical specifications of the HTC Flyer.

The HTC Flyer comes with a HTC pen which allows you to scribble, type, draw or retouch photos. However, it has to be operated with AAAA batteries. This is the first time that I have come across such AAAA batteries though.

Here is the exciting part: What special unique HTC Sense of Experience does the HTC Flyer offer? Here is the idea: HTC Flyer offers a unique HTC Timemark feature. Whenever you use the HTC pen to scribble some notes on the tablet, Timemark will also takes an audio recording of the meeting simultaneously. Sometimes, we do not really understand the notes that we have made and that is where the audio recording will come in helpful.

If you are interested in this product, do check out HTC at all mobile operators outlets. The retail price is at $1068 from May 2011 onwards.
